QII: A Quality Insulation Inspection (QII) is performed by a certified HERS (Home Energy Rating System) technician. This inspection ensures that the insulation in a home is installed to a particular standard set by the California Energy Commission.

HERS Testing/Verification: The HERS Program, also called the Field Verification and Diagnostic Testing Program, is a way to ensure that the various features of a home meet the California Building Energy Efficiency Standards (Energy Code).
